The Effectiveness of Some Types of Refugia for Supplying the Population of The First Lice (Bemisia Tabaci) on Soybean Plant

Soybean is one of the important food commodities in Indonesia which occupies third position after rice and corn. In 2020, soybean production reached 632.3 tons but decreased by 3.01% to 613.3 2021 predicted continue decline until 2024. Whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) pests on soybeans. also a viral vector. The purpose this study was obtain refugia plants were effective suppressing whitefly pest population carried out using Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 5 treatments repeated 3 times so that there 15 experimental units. treatment used 4 types plants, namely: R1 = yellow kenikir flower, R2 orange R3 Zinnia elegans paper R4 Tagetes erecta R0 Control (soybean plant without block). results showed four affected not significantly different each had no effect intensity attack. There are 7 species natural enemies consisting 6 predators 1 parasitoid. Most come from order Coleoptera.
